In order for us to reserve your wedding date, a $1,000 deposit is required to place your reservation. This may be paid by a credit card or check. Payments are processed by our company Maui Oceanfront Weddings and Events, therefore checks should be made to this name, and charge statements will reflect this title. The balance is due 45 days prior to your ceremony date by credit card, check or money order. If your booking is made within less than 45 days notice of the ceremony date, the total balance is due at the time of booking.

1. Cancellation policy: If 30 days written notice is given, a refund will be issued for $200 as $800 of this deposit is non-refundable. No refunds or downgrades of services are possible with less than a 30 day written notice.

2. The separate marriage licensing fee of $65 is payable directly to agent in cash at time of appointment. No blood test or waiting period is required in the state of Hawaii, but you will need to bring valid ID's, such as a driver's license or passport.

3. Client understands that Maui Oceanfront Weddings and Events may use venues that are natural, tropical settings and that certain inherent risks are present such as insects, gravel trails, cliffs without fencing, waterfall pools without a lifeguard, etc. Clients assume for themselves and their guests all risks for injury, illness or loss during any wedding or event contracted with Maui Oceanfront Weddings and Events.

4. For safety purposes, weddings held on a beach or at a private estate or any other venue where the wedding and/or reception is held on a grassy area, we recommend that any high heeled shoes worn by guests have a one inch minimum base. All guests should comply with this safety measure.

5. Maui Oceanfront Weddings and Events and all its contractors shall not be held liable for non-compliance caused by acts of God or nature, failure of transportation or equipment, government ordinances, or by similar nature beyond reasonable control. In the event of rescheduling due to rain or other unforeseen circumstances, client agrees to accept additional costs including but not limited to flower, cake and catering expenses.

6. Rates are subject to change.

7. Maui Oceanfront Weddings and Events reserve the right to use any photographic images and/or reproductions for display, publication or other purposes.

8. Please adhere to your specifically scheduled wedding time. Any guests arriving earlier than the scheduled time or staying later than the scheduled time will result in additional fees to be paid by the wedding couple on the day of the wedding.

9. In order for us to begin planning your catered event, a non-refundable deposit of $300 or 20% of your estimated costs (whichever is higher) is required 120 days prior to your scheduled event OR when making the reservation. The deposit can be made by credit/debit card or check. Subsequent partial payments may be required. The full balance is due 45 days prior to your catered event and is to be paid by check or money order. Balances paid by credit card will have a 4% service fee added.
